In 2027, Poznań will host the 78th International Astronautical Congress (IAC). The event will be organized in Poland by a consortium consisting of the European Space Foundation, The Way (producer of Impact), and the MTP Group. Organizational support is also provided by the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Polish Space Agency, the City of Poznań, the Poznań Convention Bureau, and LOT Polish Airlines.
The International Astronautical Congress (IAC) is the world’s premier global space event and has been held annually in a different country since 1950. It is the one time each year when all stakeholders in the space industry come together, attracting as many as 10,000 participants annually.
The IAC addresses the full range of issues related to every sector of the space industry. It offers unparalleled networking opportunities for acquiring new contacts and starting partnerships.
The purpose of the IAC is to showcase the latest advancements in space technology, facilitate international cooperation, and address the most critical issues impacting the global space industry. The agenda is designed to provide numerous opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring potential partnerships among participants from various sectors of the space and space-enabled industries, such as resources, agriculture, manufacturing, construction, smart cities, health, financial services, ICT, utilities, and emergency management.
The event serves as a platform for scientists, researchers, engineers, agency officials, industry representatives, students, young professionals, policymakers, astronauts, members of the media, and the general public to learn, share, connect, and be part of the global space community.
